Outplay Gives Back

at Aqua Foundation's Aqua Affair Event

At Outplay we believe in giving back and we believe in being part of something bigger than ourselves.

At Outplay, we work on being present and involved with organizations that fall in line with our mission and goals. Ane we found just that in the Aqua Foundation for Women. A lot of you know Aqua through their amazing pool party Aqua Girl. But they are so much more than that! The Aqua Foundation is an amazing organization that has been able to touch countless lives since its foundation and it continues to grow and expand.

We are very excited to share with all of you Outplay will be part of this year's Aqua Affair event in Miami this coming November 3. Aqua Affair is an annual event where we celebrate Aqua scholarship recipients and raise funds for all the amazing work the foundation does for the LBT community of South Florida. For the 2018/2019 year, Aqua granted $59,000 to 10 deserving LBT individuals. Each will receive financial support, as well as a mentor and access to the Foundation's annual leadership conference.

The mission of Aqua Foundation for Women is to serve and support the lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community in South Florida through grants, scholarships, and initiatives and has been doing so since 2004. The Aqua Foundation gave out grants in the first forming years and in 2007 the scholarship/mentor program was added. Since then, the foundation has given hundreds of thousands of dollars in grants and scholarships to support the wellness and equality of members of the LBT community.
