Letter From Our Founder
From my heart to all of our amazing customers and supporters
If someone told you there was a 37% chance of success in whatever endeavor you were about to embark on, would you take the leap? Within the first year 18.4% of business fail and by year 9 that number jumps to 63.4%.
I took that leap 9 years ago in May 2014, when I hit publish on Outplay’s website. The passion and love I have for what we do at Outplay outweighs any chance of failure and it keeps our tiny team going day in and day out.
From day one I decided I didn’t want to raise capital and preferred to grow Outplay slow and steady, following my passion and my gut. To this day we’re a self-funded, family-owned and run small business. With that decision comes incredible challenges and roadblocks that teach us so many lessons. One of those lessons has come in the form of stretching ourselves too thin with our product offering. So we’ve made some tough decisions that we believe are best for Outplay and you, our amazing customers.
We’re going back to what we’re best known for and really good at.
We’re going to be concentrating on our compression products and will be selling off everything that we feel no longer aligns with our core products at minimum 50% off.
This will give us the ability to make even better compression products and give us the cash flow we very much need right now to keep the business going.
Starting today, everything we’ll be discontinuing will be put on final sale.
Once it’s gone, it’s gone for good.
So if there’s something you really like or have been holding off on to try, this is your chance.
Know that every purchase is also helping a small business beat the odds by helping us keep our doors open and our passion alive; the passion to bring the best slow fashion gender inclusive clothes to you.
Thank you for being here!
Thank you for being a supporter of Outplay and what we work so hard to do everyday. I am and will always be eternally grateful for all of you!
I hope you continue to come with us on this adventure as we all grow together.
Thank you, Thank you, and Thank you again,
Marialexandra
