Description
It's time to let go, cut loose add a little color to your life! You can't decide on one so add a touch of every color. Yes, it's a version of our Flatriver that's just so comfortable and easy to wear from the pool-side bar-b-q to the beach, but with that little extra hint of every color in the rainbow.
  • Fully lined
  • 16" long from bottom of armhole seam to bottom seam
  • Racer back cut
  • Machine wash in cold water
Named after a coastal region of Venezuela where you can find some of the world's most beautiful beaches, the Higuerote is a version of our Flatriver but with a touch of print. The body is the same as the very popular Flatriver with a touch of a rainbow colored print on the shoulder straps ending in the center back over the racerback cut. The neckline is slightly lower than the Flatsea but still high enough to cover any cleavage, the armholes protect you from possible side skin but are more open due to the racer back cut. The Higuerote is a total of 16" long on the side, measured from the bottom of the armholes to the hem line. This fully lined top comes in low compression, high compression or no compression at all.

We chose to digitally print the print area on the back to avoid any discoloration when washing or wearing. But the biggest reason we digitally printed these pieces is because it's better for our planet Earth. Water isn't wasted or contaminated and fabric waste is kept to a minimum. Like with all your swimwear, remember to wash off any chlorine or salt water off of them as soon as you get out of the water at the end of your day. It will help keep your swimwear looking like new longer. Available in the same basic colors you can mix and match with any of our bottoms or the bottoms sporting the same print like the Parguito.

Remember, this is not a binder, it's a compression top designed and made to swim and be active in.
Size & Fit Guide

How do I know my size?

It took us a lot of research and a lot of testing on a lot of bodies in different shapes and sizes to come up with the sizing and fit for all of Outplay’s swimwear and sportswear. As much as we believe we’ve created really well thought-out and meticulously measured sizing system for our gender neutral clothing, we know not every style is right for every body type. Because of this, we’re constantly adding new cuts and styles giving you as many options possible for any fit. As we continue to grow, we will be adding more styles, sizes and designs that can fit your body and give you the comfort and confidence you’ve come to expect from Outplay.

All measurements refer to body size, not garment dimensions. Because our sizing is different from most traditional clothing companies, we suggest you use our size charts as a guide. The size you normally wear doesn’t necessarily translate into Outplay sizing exactly the same.

If you’re between sizes, we suggest you size up for t-shirts and sweatshirts, and go for the smaller size for sweatpants and tights.

Compression

When it comes to compression tops, it all depends on the level of compression you are looking for. If you’re looking for maximum compression and you fall between sizes, go for the smaller size. Always keep in mind our compression tops do stretch as they are made of spandex and spandex mixes and other stretchable fabrics. They are not traditional binders and their hold will never be as pronounced or as rigid as that of a traditional binder. They are made to be worn while swimming and being active, and can be worn for long periods of time without causing any harm to your body.

How to measure yourself

We always recommend you get someone to help you take your measurements. It’s easier and you get more accurate and precise measurements this way. If you take your own measurements, we recommend you do it in front of a mirror so you can have a better view of how you’re measuring everything all the way around.

CHEST:

With your arms relaxed and down your side, measure around the fullest part of your chest. Make sure to keep the measuring tape horizontal. Get a full measurement without tightening the measuring tape around you.

WAIST:

Measure around your natural waistline (the narrowest point of your upper body). Make sure to keep the measuring tape horizontal and don’t tighten it.

HIPS:

Measure around your hip bones which are at the widest point of your hip section.

INSEAM:

Measure the inside length of your leg, from your crotch down.

*inseam refers to the length of the garment, from the crotch seam to the hem. You can find style specific inseam details on each product page description.
**These are sizing guidelines. Please take your body measurements to determine you most accurate size.

If you’re on the borderline between two sizes, order the smaller size for a tighter fit or stronger compression. Choose the larger size for a looser fit. When it comes to compression tops a looser fit will not allow the compression materials to do their job.
